Rosemary Bourbon Sour

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • .5 oz rosemary simple syrup (recipe below)
  • Garnish: lemon slices and rosemary sprigs

Directions:

  1. Combine the bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
  4. Garnish and enjoy!

      Rosemary Simple Syrup: 

  1. Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup rosemary leaves in a small sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and let the rosemary leaves steep for 30 minutes.
  5. Strain out the rosemary and you're good to go.
